2020 Lexus LS Trim Level Comparison 

The 2020 Lexus LS comes in four different styles, also known as trim levels. They are the LS 500, which is the standard trim level; the LS 500 F Sport, which adds sporty features and style; the LS 500h, which is a hybrid version; and the LS Inspiration Series, which is the most luxurious option. Below, we’ll compare these four trim levels in three main categories: style and design, technology and entertainment, and performance and safety.  

2020 Lexus LS – style and design 

The two trim levels that stand out in the style and design category are the LS Inspiration Series and the LS 500 F Sport. The Inspiration Series trim level has a white leather-trimmed interior with a blue LED design panel and hand-made Kiriko glass decoration. On its exterior, it has 20-inch Black Vapor Chrome Finish wheels and a unique Deep Garnet standard paint color option.  

The LS 500 F Sport trim level is also unique inside and out. On the outside, it has Dark Graphite finish 20-inch wheels, a mesh grille, chrome lower trim, and badging. Inside, the LS 500 F Sport has perforated leather seating surfaces, a race car inspired instrument panel, and accent stitching.  

2020 Lexus LS – technology and entertainment 

While the technology and entertainment options are nearly the same between the four trim levels, both the LS 500 F Sport and the LS 500h have extra features. The LS 500 F Sport has an exclusive instrument panel design, with bold colors and shapes that mimic that in a race car. It has a metallic-trimmed bezel and a digital tachometer exclusive to its trim level. 

The LS 500h has the only hybrid technology of the four trim levels. It is also the only trim level with ECO, Normal, and Sport drive modes. ECO mode powers your vehicle with electricity, turning it into an electric vehicle for short distances at low speeds.  

2020 Lexus LS – performance and safety 

Performance and safety go hand in hand, especially on the LS 500 F Sport, which has extra features for both. Two of those features include enhanced brakes and active stabilizers. The active stabilizers of the LS 500 F Sport trim level are included in the optional performance package. Keeping you safe by improving your vehicle's stability and handling, the active stabilizers improve performance and reliability.  

The LS 500 F Sport trim level is also the only trim level to have high-performance brakes, which is another feature that merges the circles of performance and safety features. These six-piston aluminum calipers have enhanced ventilation to keep them cool and ready to go.
